Orkut
I've joined the throng and started exploring Orkut (thanks to several friends who invited me).
My initial impressions are that it looks like fun and that I could wile away hours checking out other people's interests and networks and exploring some of the many communities.
But after I showed it to my wife I said, by way of attempting to put it into context, "Remember when I first showed you the World Wide Web and you couldn't see the point? I think orkut is a bit like that at the moment".
It will be interesting to see how it takes shape.
