Open Source Modelling Tools

I'm interested in open source modelling tools, both for UML models and data models (i.e. E-R diagrams).

Last year Bruce Eckel conducted a UML tool survey so that is one useful source of information. Can anyone else recommend simple open source tools that they have used extensively?

Oh, there is one key qualification I must add: the tools must run on Linux.

I have tried ArgoUML and thought it to be quite good. First time I got to use Java Webstart too.

I have tried ArgoUML as well and it is awfull. I would suggest using PoseidonUML. This is the commercial version of ArgoUML. The personal edition is free. The only restriction is a watermark when you print or export your diagramm as an image. If you can live with that then it is a good tool. Also I have tried others but nothing to mention (no names to protect the guilty...)

Daniel, Andreas: Thanks. I've tried ArgoUML before and was underwhelmed. I'll give PoseidonUML a go.
