James Morrison
What an inspiration! Not only is James Morrison an amazingly gifted jazz musician, playing his trumpet in particular, optimism oozes from every pore.
In his interview with Andrew Denton on Enough Rope last night, at one point Denton asked him how he managed to be so "up" all the time. I forget his exact answer, but essentially it was simple. There is enough beauty in the world if you choose to focus on it.
Another thing that impressed me about Morrison was his comfort with being himself. Perhaps that's why his wife describes him as a lovable dag.

His answers were so casual and intelligent. Clearly, his wife had not read the script; what a lousy thing to say about your husband, even if she was just trying to be funny.
