That used to be the view from my bedroom window and I went to work on that ferry.

Not that I'm suspicious Keith, but that must have been quite a walk to go from that close on the western side of the bridge all the way to east of the opera house.

So it wasn't far at all and the only potential obstacles were the various watering holes in The Rocks in between!

It's great that it has remained a residential precinct and there has been at least some protection of heritage values - also it's wonderful that the whole area is still diverse in income rather than completely gentrified.
