OSDC Proposal Accepted!
I'm not quite sure whether to celebrate or panic - my proposal (entitled J2EE and Open Source Innovation: The Relationship between Open Source and Standards) to present at this year's Open Source Developers' Conference in Melbourne has been accepted. Now comes the work of transforming the proposal into a paper and presentation...
Thanks to Alan for encouraging me to submit a proposal.
Posted to Software Development by Keith PittyCongrats Keith. I hadn't actually heard about the conference. Have you attended any pervious ones? We're considering attending, just interested in some insight from someone who has attended.

Posted by: Daniel B at August 2, 2006 1:01 PMThanks Daniel, both of you ;)
Daniel H: I haven't been to OSDC before, but my colleague Alan Green has presented at both the previous conferences. He has lots of good things to say about them.
Posted by: Keith at August 2, 2006 1:22 PMKeith, congratulations. I'm looking forward to your presentation already.
Daniel - OSDC is a largely vendor/product pitch free conference put on by open source enthusiasts for open source enthusiasts. In other words, great.
