OSDC Presentation Scheduled
The Open Source Developers' Conference in Melbourne is fast approaching.
I've submitted the final version of my paper and my presentation has been scheduled, thankfully at a civilised time: 10 o'clock on the morning of day two.
In the remaining few weeks I have the chance to refine and practice my presentation. I've already received valuable feedback from my colleagues Neville and Alan. As guides to improving my presentation I have the excellent "Conference Presentation Judo" (thanks Alan) and Kathy Sierra's "Better Beginnings: how to start a presentation, book, article...".
Now here's a question for all you experienced conference presenters out there: what tips do you have for making a successful presentation to a very bright technical audience?
